The Healthy Habits Coaching Club is a place for you to get healthy and lose weight - but, more importantly, it's a place for you to actually maintain your results for the long-term.
How many times have you lost weight only to quickly regain some, all, or even more than what you lost?
How many times have you gone on a cleanse or a detox or a re-boot only to immediately revert to your old eating habits as soon as the regimen was over?
When I had my private coaching practice, I heard this ALL the time. You are not alone! Most people are really, really good at losing weight - but they are completely in the dark about how to actually keep the weight off once they've lost it.
It's not a surprise. We're taught how to 'diet'. We're taught to be always trying to lose weight.
But we're not often taught how to live a happy, healthy life and enjoy a happy, healthy relationship with food!
This club and all of our wonderful members take a long-term view of health and weight loss.
We want results that last - and we want to feel peaceful and joyful around food.
We are sick of yo-yo dieting and jumping on every new nutrition fad and fitness trend. It's exhausting, it's demoralizing and it doesn't even work.
It doesn't even work, you guys!!
We want to practice a very simple collection of proven healthy habits, day in and day out, because THAT'S how you lose weight and keep it off - and THAT'S how you actually enjoy your life along the way.
It's not sexy, it's not flashy - it just works.
You see, when you get right down to it, health and weight loss is actually not that complicated. Here's how you do it:
Don't stop after 10-days, or 30-days, or 90-days.
But...most people stop.
They stop because they don't have the right mindset, or the right support, or they don't see the results fast enough and so they get bored.
And so they grow impatient and impulsive - and they turn to yet another unsustainable get-thin-quick program (or detox or diet or cleanse) that doesn't actually work for the long term.
Most people want to believe that there is a magical method out there that will allow them to avoid doing the regular, day-in and day-out stuff that brings lasting results.
But it's an illusion - as you have probably discovered time and time again.
Well, I'm here to tell you.....
And so I created The Healthy Habits Coaching Club to give you a place to stay focused, motivated, and inspired about the day-in and day-out stuff.
The Club is a place where you will learn how to lose weight healthfully - and then actually, joyfully, easily keep it off.
The Club is a place that will give you a simple collection of healthy habits that you can practice day in and day out.
The Club is a place that will give you all the support, accountability, and encouragement that you could possibly need to keep going this time.

You're not going to have to change everything all at once. Why? Because it won't last!
This Club is about getting results that last - which means doing things in a way that works.
I'm going to help you go slow and steady - one change at a time - so that your new habits can last for the long-term.
If you ever get stuck, though, you have all your fellow club members to turn to. And - remember - I will be right there alongside you, as well!
We will make sure that you have all the information you need - and that you don't lose steam!
Keep in mind, these are only excerpts of the FULL Monthly Moves, which you'll have access to as a club member!
This means the whole grain and nothing but the grain!
Whole grain breads, chips, crackers, cereals, and pastas DO NOT COUNT for this Move.
Eat the whole grain in its whole grain form.
Ideally, you want to see the word ‘WHOLE’ as the very first word in the ingredient list. This means that it contains predominantly WHOLE grains. You don’t need to throw out perfectly good food, but start becoming aware of what may be lurking in your kitchen! Commit to shopping differently on your very next shopping trip.
For the next 30 days, MOVE your body for at least 30-minutes every day.
Wait - what? Only 30-minutes? What’s THAT going to do?
Whatever your current stance on movement, exercise, physical activity, I would encourage you to read through this Monthly Move and see what kinds of thoughts bubble up for you. BODIES and physicality and weight and movement can be complicated sometimes. It’s important, in my opinion, to unearth all of your thoughts and feelings about it - so that you can truly act in your own best interest.
I want to start off by telling you what makes me really sad about poor sleep.
Sleep is one of the greatest things you can do for your health - and yet it is usually the FIRST thing that gets compromised when life gets hectic. We think we don’t really need it because, in the short-term, it seems like we can get by with less.
We seem to take pride in getting by on little to no sleep - and it’s never made sense to me!
It’s like taking pride in using less OXYGEN than everyone else. Who cares? No one is keeping score. The only one who suffers is YOU. And, at least in my book, it’s not okay for you to suffer in your life - at all - if you can help it. And - I promise - this is something that is within your power to control.
As you keep reading, I'll tell you about the next awesome feature of The Club - which is actually my favorite!
The Healthy Habits Coaching Club features a private online community that exists on Facebook. This is where you're going to find all the support and encouragement you need to stay focused on your day-in and day-out healthy habits.
This is my favorite part of the club!
The private Facebook group is where you can declare your goals, track your meals and your exercise, ask for advice, play along with group challenges, and make connections with other club members that will both lift you up and keep you accountable!
If you check Facebook even once a day it's easy to participate in the private group (And - ahem - speaking for myself, I know that I check Facebook way more than once a day!).
I actually hang out in our Facebook group quite a bit, so I'm frequently available to you to answer questions, issue fun challenges, and encourage your success!
And, of course, you'll be in the company of all your fellow club members who will always cheer you on - or listen to you vent!
And now, as you read on, I'll tell you about the final feature of the club - which is where you can really kick things up a notch.
Once a month, we come together for an hour-long group coaching session via teleconference. These sessions are never the same twice, but they are always a blast!
This is your chance to raise your hand and volunteer for a little one-on-one coaching with me about your unique circumstances and challenges. I try to get to as many club members as possible - so if you've been stuck or stymied in any way at all, you are wholeheartedly encouraged to raise your hand on these calls and we'll talk it out!
These group sessions are hugely beneficial for everyone - not just the folks who volunteer - so, if you aren't quite ready to raise your hand and ask a question, you are more than welcome to sit back and listen, and reap all the benefits from hearing other club members speak up and share!
The tele-gatherings are generally held on a Sunday night at 8:30pm EST (always subject to change). If you can't attend live, NO WORRIES. A recording will always be made available in our Facebook group. You won't ever miss out!
And if you have a question you'd like to ask, but you can't make it to the session, you can always email it to me and I will answer it on the recording so that you receive a proper response.

No worries at all. You never have to do anything you don't want to do! The Monthly Moves are all based on proven healthy habits where there is scientific consensus about their effectiveness. That said, if there's a Move that's just not doin' it for ya, you are welcome to revisit a previous Move or select something that feels more appropriate for you. As long as you're working on SOMEthing, you'll be doing just fine!

Yes! But then I would strongly recommend making an effort to attend our live monthly tele-gatherings. Having some sort of social support is extremely beneficial when you're trying to change your habits - and, if you aren't on Facebook, you won't be able to enjoy all the encouragement, information, and connection that the group provides. If that's the case, I would encourage you to make use of the tele-gatherings that are included in your membership - so that you can ask me questions directly, raise your hand for some coaching, and maximize your success in the Club.
The monthly tele-gatherings are generally held on a Sunday night at 8:30pmEST. You'll receive the schedule with exact dates when you join. I realize that finding a single gathering time that works for everyone in the club is highly unlikely (!) - but we've managed to have the most success with Sunday evenings.
If you are not able to join us live, fear not! Each gathering is recorded and made available to you within a few days. You will be able to benefit from hearing the discussion, Q&A and coaching that transpired.
You are also invited to submit a specific question to me in advance, if you can't attend live, and I will move mountains to answer your question at the gathering so you can hear it on the recording. No worries.
